Dark Passage - Humhrey Bogart is a con on the run- he is found by Lauren Bacall- the gimmick in this movie- we don't see Bogie's face til he undergoes plastic surgery from a disgraced surgeon.What makes this movie work is not the stars above the title- but an interesting array of supporting characters.The movie drags a little while the Bogie/Bacall relationship is playing out.It has a strong third act with some great scenery chewing by Agnes Moorehead and some twists.The DVD has a classic Bugs Bunny cartoon(The Slick Hare) and a 10 minute featurette on the movie. B
