while this movie is billed as a Noir flick- or it is in a noir collection- and it does have elements of noir - it fillms more like a caper pic- nothing wrong with that and I do like the movie


Kansas City Confidential -Well done 1952 low budget heist film.The movie is about a flower delivering ex-con who gets framed for a million dollar bank job.But what makes this movie cook are the swarmy bad guys played Lee Van Cleef,Jack Elam,Preston Foster and Neville Brand.There are plot holes and some of the dialogue is from tough guy 101- but the movie is well paced and populated by thugs and cretins that feel legit. B-
