T-Men- excellent procedural noir from 1948 directed by Anthony Mann with crack cinematography by John Alton. We follow a counterfiet sting from the perspective of treasury agents-but that is the half of it.Excellent use of shadows, light and fog surround a suspenseful story and the movie is populated with great supporting actors including the always rugged Charles McGraw as the strong arm of the mob.No extras on the DVD.
